Who the Jew are You?

Who The Jew Are You? chronicles Alan Goldman’s journey into all things Jewish. The rules? Keep kosher, attend synagogue, put on a yarmulke, and keep the Sabbath. If giving into the rigorous religious traditions of the Jewish faith doesn’t make him Jewish then maybe nothing will. But along the way Alan, asking tough questions about culture and religion, realizes that faith is more than something you believe in…it’s something that defines who you are.

Who The Jew Are You? is an often humorous and thought-provoking point of view documentary that will expose viewers to Alan’s vulnerability as he journeys to understand his waning faith. By keeping regular video diaries, Who The Jew Are You? allows the audience to experience Alan’s emotions, frustrations, joys, epiphanies and sorrows firsthand.

Alan consults regularly with a series of spiritual advisers who will give him guidance throughout his journey. Along the way Alan met some engaging characters that helped him to deal with some of the ambivalent issues around his Judaism that he faces.
